The majority of the team comes from financial institutions, including Robin, who has held positions as branch manager/loan officer for a community bank and president and CEO of a credit union.

Jeff Torp BVS Compliance Director As BVS Compliance Director since 2001, Jeff oversees compliance course accuracy and timeliness; well-researched responses to our customers' federal compliance questions; and our Compliance Center resources. In a former life, Jeff served as legal counsel to the Independent Bankers of Minnesota and as senior manager of McGladrey & Pullen's regulatory risk consulting practice. He has written and taught extensively on regulatory risk, and is the author of more than a dozen books, including "Regulatory Compliance Audit Guide" and "Guide to Anti-Money Laundering and BSA Compliance."

Carl Swanson Chief Technology Officer For over 30 years Carl has focused on creating and improving every feature of BVS products. He leads a team of detailed-thinking, experienced application developers. Putting themselves in the shoes of learners and administrators, they examine every aspect of our training tools, striving to create tools that are efficient, user-friendly, and best-in-class.
